Triple glazed units are almost indistinguishable from their double glazed counterparts, but superior in terms of performance by using two panes of low emissivity glass, two warm edge spacer bars and two argon filled cavities. The additional cavity created by having three panes of glass increases sound insulation by over 20% and with three panes of glass the security of the unit against breakage is also improved.
